Back to Ballet Boot Camp is a one-week intensive program designed to polish dancers’ technique and return them in top form to their fall programs. For students who attended an intensive program earlier in the summer, the boot camp will allow you to maintain and show off your summer progress. For those dancers who may have focused on other pursuits this summer, the program will allow you to return to Fall ballet with confidence.
We offer a Half Day Program, a Full Day Program and our Tune-Up Program. See Program page for more details.
We accept 11 year old dancers with at least three years of classical training into our Half Day program (Full Day with Director permission).
We accept students aged 12-13 with three or more years of classical ballet training and students aged 14-18 with four or more years of classical ballet training. Students age 15+ may register for our Summer Tune-Up Program.
Program Directors Kathy Stark and Joseph Jefferies bring many years of experience to their teaching. Their emphasis on individual coaching will hone dancers’ technique and encourage their development of personal style.
This year, Back to Ballet Boot Camp is pleased to welcome guest instructor Roberto Forleo (former dancer with Bejart Lausanne and Rambert Dance Company) and Acton School of Ballet Assistant Director Lindsay Moncrieff.
